Pick Module Conveyor Systems

Pick modules are aisles of racking or shelving that have a high concentration of picking faces on the ground level.  Pick modules can be just a single level on the floor or be multi-level for even denser arrangement of pick faces, accommodating many unique parts (SKUs). Pick modules typically have conveyor running down the middle of the aisle to transport cartons to pack/ship workstations or to route order totes through various picking zones along the length of the pick module. When multi-level pick modules are designed, the need for efficient routing of conveyor from level to level requires specialized equipment to minimize footprint.  Gravity chutes are used to route product down from level to level or spiral conveyors are used to route product up (or down).
