Storage Platforms
This is the most typical application of a pre-engineered mezzanine structure. Commonly used to free up floor space in manufacturing areas or in dense warehouse picking operations. These mezzanines typically are rated to 125 psf and have a gate or material lift to allow for loading and unloading of product. The second floor can support shelving for small parts storage or live loading of pallet loads with a pallet jack. Columns spacing and clearance below are specified to accommodate planned 1st floor activities.
