Dense storage technology used to store many pallets of the same SKU in one bay. Most commonly used in production facilities and for warehousing of seasonal product received in high volumes and consumed over a long period. Very efficient means of storage for segment of inventory that is received in truckload quantities and can’t be floor stacked. Common to double-stack loads on bottom level to improve selectability and reduce cost. Typical in seasonal pallet quantity operations such as produce farms.
